Group Music Classes for the Whole Church

If you have ever wanted to learn an instrument, or you have a child (middle school and up) who does, this is for you. We're holding free group music classes taught by members of our own congregation, open to anyone middle school age and up. Teenagers, young adults, and adults are all welcome, and no experience is needed.

Classes meet on Sundays from 3:45 to 4:45 PM, one hour before the evening service. Students learn in small groups, take homework to practice at home, and work toward one goal: playing and singing with the church orchestra and choir.

Two Programs on Alternating Sundays

Instrument Classes

Every other Sunday.

Organ, strings, brass, and woodwinds, taught in small groups by section. We'll also include music theory and reading classes.

Vocal Classes

The opposite Sundays.

One group class in traditional congregational and choir singing. Learn your part (soprano, alto, tenor, or bass) and how to hold it. Open to everybody, including instrument students; the two classes never meet the same week.

Join either class, or both.

All classes 3:45 to 4:45 PM at the church.

What You Need to Know

What does it cost?: Nothing. The classes are free.
Do I need my own instrument?: Yes, and your teacher will help you figure out what to get before you spend anything, including rental options or inexpensive used instruments to purchase.
How much will I need to practice at home?: About 15 to 30 minutes most days, depending on the instrument. Classes meet every other week, so home practice is important.
Who can join?: Anyone in the church, middle school age and up. Adults, these classes are for you, too!

King James Bible Jubilee 2026

Theme: “Faint Not!”

The King James Bible Jubilee brings together Bible-believing preachers, musicians, and guests from across the country and around the world. The meeting includes Bible preaching, congregational and special singing, Christian fellowship, and the graduation service for The Bible Doctrine Institute.

There is no charge to attend or register. Registration helps us plan the preaching schedule, prepare the facilities, and coordinate hospitality and welcome materials. Please register as soon as your plans are settled; reservations may be cancelled later if necessary.

Church Building Update

Standing on the Words of God

We remain thankful for the way the Lord provided for our church property and building. From clearing the property and breaking ground to laying the foundation, raising the exterior walls, and completing the roof, we watched the building take shape one step at a time.

Before the foundation was poured, the congregation gathered for prayer and placed Bibles in the ground beneath the pulpit and platform. They remain there as a reminder that this ministry is built upon—and must continue standing upon—the words of God.

Today the completed building at 3857 Hartley Road is home to our regular services, Sunday School classes, youth and children’s ministries, The Bible Doctrine Institute, and the annual King James Bible Jubilee. We praise the Lord for a building filled with Bible preaching, singing, fellowship, and people learning the Scriptures.
